Dr. Cho is also one of the the co-PIs of the Kangbuk Samsung Cohort Study, a collaboration between the Kangbuk Samsung Hospital and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, to evaluate risk factors for chronic disease and to understand the natural history of disease in a cohort of over 400,000 Korean men and women with detailed health exam data. In this cohort, Dr. Cho is particularly interested in identifying novel psychosocial risk factors of cancer and its progression.
